Former Members of An Bord Pleanála (2001 - 2011), the principals of DK Planning and Architecture, Karl Kent and Jane Doyle, have between them 20 years experience as Board Members. Both have also served on the Strategic Infrastructure Division of An Bord Pleanála, of which Karl Kent was a member from its inception in 2007. Karl is also a past Deputy Chairperson of An Bord Pleanála.

Prior to their appointment as Members of An Bord Pleanála, both were Senior Planning Inspectors with the Board reporting on the full range of planning appeals and conducting Oral Hearings.

The partners of Doyle Kent have many years experience dealing with the planning of large and small projects, from suburban house extensions to Strategic Infrastructure Advice, to Environmental Impact Assessment, Appropriate Assessment under the Habitats Directive, to high profile architectural conservation projects.
